Intake backfire on crank I have a problem that is occurring on 4 different 5.3 swaps. One is a heads cam and intake motor, the other 3 are stock motors running stock tunes,
The problem is that about 1 out of every 10 times I go to start the motor, it doesn't fire. If I keep cranking, it will backfire through the intake. If I notice it not fire immediately, turn the key off, and then crank again it will start right up.
Where should I go looking in the tune?
