Holley custom igntion set up Hey yall. I'm messing around with ignition dwell on my turbo car. In order to enable the dwell table in the terminator v2 software you must select "custom" and then whichever your crank and cam sensor you are using. in my case 24x and single pulse. Then it prompts you to select sensor type. I am unsure whether to use digital rising, digital falling or magnetic.
I'd like to hear from someone familiar with the custom ign configuration

Once you select custom ignition the motor will have to spin over longer before starting. I have made 1,000 plus at the wheels with stock coils and stock dwell settings on countless cars. You can also use an advanced table and add dwell under boost and leave ignition settings stock.

heh just fired the car and noticed it takes a sec longer. thanks for that heads up.
i was messing with the inductive delay just now and set at the minimum it drops 3 degrees of timing by 5500 rpm. I added 50msec and it seemed to stabilize
have you seen anything like that?
