Automatic to manual in swap I put an lq4 with t56 in a subaru and loaded the pcm with 7603 os from a truck with 6.0 automatic.
Is checking the box that it's a manual gonna be good or should i get a bin that already had a manual?
I used pcmhammer and tunerpro to flash the pcm and make initial adjustments to get it idling and I have a mpvi on the way to do further tuning

I did the swap back in 2005 to a 2002 camaro and just found a manual 2002 camaro file and did a rewrite entire.
It did change some of the pcm pins. I remember two automatic transmission solenoid pins switched to controlling the reverse lockout and cags.
Never messed with one of these with tunerpro but I have used it on obd 1 stuff.
