I want to get a spare computer to get flashed for a new tune but how ? How do I know which one , are they vin specific or year and transmission specific?
I want to have one to send off for a custom tune but I will be haveing all my parts put in at 3 different shops and need my computer in it,
It is a 2001 A4 camaro

email valvegod@aol.com for a price, tell him your car year... but I believe 99-02 are all the same physical unit just the OS is different
you can then go to a dealership and they can flash the PCM to your vin and proper OS for your year

thanks guys , silly question what is OS? and does it matter if the computer has the same vin since I don't live in an emissions county and will never go to the dealer for service?
