Figured out a way to use the factory engine segment when doing a flex fuel tune on an 05 cts-v and figured I'd share. Big shoutout to rouchneck427 for posting helpful information on this a while back. This will also work with all P59 with the 12592618 OS, and the same method will work with other OS P59's, just that you'll probably need a different .xdf file. I had weird TB issues when I tried doing a segment swap from a flexfuel 05 avalanche so I decided to use Tunerpro and enable the "hidden" parameters in HPTuners. You have to buy the user defined parameters feature with HPT (or buy a cable and use Tunerpro to flash it) and download Tunerpro HERE. Unfortunately I can't post .xdf files here so you'll have to copy over the necessary tables into a new .xdf but it's not too much work. Download the 12592618 OS .xdf file from PCMHacker HERE and open it, then find the flex fuel table section. Right click copy, then open a new .xdf and paste each of these parameters in:
Then save the new .xdf file and import those parameters into HPT user defined parameters:
Then fill out all of the available flex fuel tables in HPTuners (use a factory flex fuel car as a compare file and copy them over) and then flash the tune and you're all set!
There are several more flex fuel parameters than just the ones you listed, but those will get the the sensor reading. Don't forget to also turn on the codes for the sensor.

Yes there are many more flex fuel parameters. I forgot to mention the DTC’s but yes, P0178 and P0179 were turned on.
