throttle body tps question
At the TPS sensor, you will have a 5v ref circuit, a ground circuit and a signal circuit wire that tells the PCM what position the throttle is in.
The connector has to be plugged into the TPS to get a reading for the signal circuit wire.
When you said you set the idle to 950, exactly how did you do that?
Did you adjust the TB set screw?
The PCM has a desired idle speed it wants to achieve. If you open/close the TB, it's still going to try to achieve that desired idle speed until the IAC can't open or close enough to achieve it.
Is the car stock? Has it been tuned? Did it run OK prior to sitting for 6 years?
