Default Anyone familiar with ACCEL CALMAP?

Got a 1991 Syclone in the shop and it has an Accel ECU with CALMAP. Problem is, I can't access the ECU. I have the cable, and version 6.32 of the software, but keep getting a "Echo Mismatch" error. This is supposedly a comm error between the ECU and laptop, but the literature does not state how to fix it or work around it. Darn Accel DFI hotline won't return my calls either

Don't use windoze. Echo mismatch means you are using some kind of windows software on your laptop. You must boot the computer in DOS to use the old ACCEL software.
