Problems before tuning Helo everyone
I have a 01 z28 that i just built a lq4 with 799 heads and sloppy stage 2 cam. Its not tuned yet ! The problem i am having is a code p0103 (mass or volume air flow circuit high input) at idle 900rpms my code reader is reading 3.0 lb/min . i have smoked tested and found no leaks.I checked the wiring to the mass flow sensor and got the 5v, 12v and good grond on the wires. I cant seem to find a problem. Is this just a tuning problem or something else. I just dont want to show up at the tuners shop and not be ready !

If the MAF is clean the code is set because the camshaft is larger than stock allowing more air to flow across the sensor. The air cools the sensor filament too much so the pcm supplies more current to keep the sensor wire filament the spec'ed temp. That's how these maf sensors work. PCM needs tuning
