L92/LS3, e38, 4l80e…
L92/LS3, e38, 4l80e… Moving away from a vendor solution and into OEM for my 2009 L92 that I installed a LS3 intake, Camaro TB(6 pin), and EV6 injectors (fic) on.
I also run a 4l80e.
I have the E38 ECU from the ‘09 caddy in was pulled from.
Can/should I use the E38 with a T42 TCM? I’m not married to the E38 if there is a better OEM option for my combo.
I’ll be using HPT to tune, I have some reading to do on the HPT forum but I believe that I can use any T42 with an E38 and reflash the TCM to the calibration?

I have stacks of T42's. 05-14 are just different programming basically (its a slave module) they will run a 4l60, 4l65, 4l80 15 pin transmissions for the most part with different programming.
