help plz! im makin a new car.. i got so far... engines in , harness is in, everythings in!!!! go to start it... WTF it doesnt start, we tried to hotwire it and it does whats its supposed to do , not let you fully start it. could it be when we dismatled every little peice that something got erased? dad says it is probably the computer... it god damn started before we dismantled.. this thing ruined my day, just got back home, 5:30 , an i have never been so po'd... can anyone PLz help me out, or have any clue what can be the problem... we put gas, battery was more then enough... hell 2 battery bpacks and also we put a huge *** battery charger.. we can start a car the size of texas... so it is definetly nto the battery or the gas.
btw this is a 1998 shell and chassis and we dropped a 2000 engine w/ harness tranny ccomp ect, everything was transfered to the 1998 shell... in short its a 2000 CHEVY CAMARO

the BCM in the 98 body is not out of the 2000 right? sounds like VATs isn't letting you start because the key you're using isn't recognized by the BCM ... (the little resistor in the key)
Do you have any way to edit the PCM? to remove VATS ?
