5.3 surging after it gets to operating temp I have a 1990 c1500 that I swapped a gen 3 5.3. The 5.3 has a chopacabra cam and .550 valve springs, long tube headers and no cats
Main problem I’m having is that the truck runs normal whenever I drive it when it’s has been cooled down. Once the thing gets to operating temp, I turn it off then want to drive again before it fully cools down the engine starts surging whenever I accelerate it. I’ve changed the mainstream o2 sensors out but it didn’t seem to make a difference. I’ve hooked up a triton snap on scanner to it but I doesn’t shoot any codes so I’m not sure if it’s a tunning issue or is there something else that can cause the surging
