I am having a weird issue with my car. I replaced my alternator the other day because I was getting a code for the L terminal. Alternator works fine now and there were no issues with drivability that day. Drove over to a friend's house yesterday, got there with no issues. Went for a drive and it started giving me a low voltage on bank 1 sensor 1 02 sensor. It is considerably lower than bank 2 even with engine off, sometimes reading as low as .005v. I replaced the sensor yesterday with no change in the readings. What do ya'll think the issue could be? This one has me stumped.

The plug for that 02 sensor is right behind the alternator. Is there a possibility the wiring harness got damaged?

With the sensor unplugged, what voltage does the sensor show? Unplugged it should be around 450mv.

Thank you for the response. I will check that out tomorrow after work. I'm sure it the wiring will probably be the issue

Bringing this thread back from the dead. Checked the wiring and everything checks out good. Still have the low voltage problem on bank 1 sensor 1 02. I haven't had time to work on the car for a bit. After a couple weeks of the car sitting, the 02 sensor readings on both sides are nearly the same until you start it. Then the driver side 02 voltage drops way down again. I'm thinking it may be a fuel injector leaking. Anybody have any thoughts or other things I should be looking at?
