Timing question

Timing question I just bought a 98 z28 from a gentleman who moved from Texas. He put a Texas speed cam and did some other engine mods my question is at highway speed should the timing read 43deg and then drop when letting off the gas. Also will a vss code cause me to have a running issue.

VSS = Vehicle Speed Sensor. Running issue with this? Possibly due to speed being in the mix for transmission gear shifting. Yes, timing does change with RPM. Your listed 43 degrees of spark advance is more than I typically see with my stock engine but not excessively so unless you are hearing the engine "ping" / detonate. That number will drop when you come off the gas because your engine does not need as much spark advance at a lower RPM.

Timing question Tha ns Rick. Yeah it's far from stock it won't hardly run at any rpm under 1800. Was just curious if my po500 code for the vss would cause any chugging or hesitation issues while driving. Been fighting a hesitation while at constant throttle and wasn't sure is my speed sensor would cause them kind of issues
