Bought this car, motor had a spun a bearing. So scraping the LQ (might build for something else) I found an old LS1 from a vette It has new bearings pistons rods and rings. It’s been done at the machine shop professionally with ARP studs line bore ect (so I was told) I will plasti gauge at least one main…
so, my question is about starting and breaking it in ect with the current tube…what do you doing about that file?
iI mean it was made for a 364 not a 5.7L (over .019) which is 349cc
should I get a generic tune for the new set up? The only thing I’m changing is the block and I’ll have the 706 heads ported or maybe grab some better heads Not positive yet but the same injectors, the same cam exhaust ect. Just not sure how safe the tune will be. I did shut closed loop OFF so the terminator won’t learn.
