My scanner won't connect to my pcm with ign on. Only after I attempt a start (still trying to get it running) will the scanner connect to obd2.
I'm running a 6.0 lq4, stock pcm with vats deleted, ebay swap harness.
It gets power from the starter wire hot straight to battery, 12v battery fully charged. Car attempts to start but the DBW isn't coming online so it dies immediately.
Also trying to troubleshoot the DBW system and having no power to the tac module or TB.

I went through two of those harnesses. Wasted a month on testing and talking to the seller. Neither one worked, each had a different problem. I got a truck harness that matched my ECM and made it stand alone. They have no wiring diagrams so you can't troubleshoot. Worthless!!
You can check the circuits if it's already installed. Go on LT1 swap and look at the pinouts and go from there. If that doesn't work, go on ALLDATA and get the wiring schematic. It's 20 bucks for 30 days use.
