Default MAF / calculated load problem

I've got an '89 Firebird with a stock 4.8/ 4L60E, and the PCM isn't commanding full line pressure for the transmission.

I have chronicled the problem here.

If you read the above link, after extensive testing, everyone seems to agree that it's a tune issue.

However, I have noticed that there are times where the MAF sensor is not reading the same amount of air at WOT, thus, the calculated load is less.
I have tried two different MAFs, and the problem persists.

Before I try tuning this thing, I want to know WHY this would occur.

Here is what the MAF/ throttle/ MAP/ etc. shows on a good day:

Here's what it normally looks like:

Why is the MAF giving different readings at WOT? There is nothing blocking the filter. I can provide pictures if necessary.

Am I missing something? I don't see rpm on anywhere on those pics. MAF reading at WOT will vary across the entire rpm range, so those comparison pics are meaningless unless they were at the same rpm.

Agree with @gametech that we need to see RPM.
Also I don't understand the MAP value. I would expect to see close to 100 kpa (or 29" Hg) at WOT. Is the MAP even working? Maybe there is the problem.

Log RPM and MAF hertz.

Is there any other way to display the data? It's hard to compare two and know exactly in th log the data is being displayed at.

Look again. Throttle is 100%, MAP is 29 hg in both images.

I see that now; just never seen such logging outputs. I saw the "6" under Hg and didn't realize it was the lower range. Cool.
