94 Caprice LS swapped 04 LQ4 6.0. Green Blue PCM with oil pressure sensor.
I'm using the Torque Pro App and Harbor Freight "Zurich" obd2 dongle. Android S10e.
(I've just got this motor running and need to verify oil pressure before continuing on.
Alternatively, ive also ran the stock Caprice wiring to a GM 12553175 oil pressure sensor and removed the resistor for an accurate reading on the stock dash. This guage just moves a tick and shows nothing when running, so I'm hoping the app will help me out.)
I have both available GM plug-ins on my digital cluster. Pre 05 and post.. neither gauges function
Any help would be great. I'm kinda at a loss.
Ive heard some dongles don't transmit canbus info.
Anyone know of a tried and true dongle or fix for me?
