SD tuned, service engine light on dash refuses to go away.

Default SD tuned, service engine light on dash refuses to go away.

Has anyone ever experienced this ?
This is on my 2002 Ws6. The car is Procharged and I'm running a SD tune. MAF IS GONE. The car runs great. I just want this service vehicle light gone.
Key on, vehicle connected to the scanner It shows a P0102 code.

All of the SES Enable boxes for p0101, p0102 and p0103 have been UNCHECKED.

The light is still on.
any ideas is appreciated.

He can't set to no error reported, or it will never fail the non-existent MAF. However, without seeing his actual tune it is impossible to say what the problem is.

Uncheck the 3 MAF codes, set to No MIL and the SES light should stay off.

FWIW,

On my 2000 Firehawk, I am using the 2 bar SD OS.

This is how I set mine up and it's been like this for 2 years, even switching back and forth to a Tahoe FF OS, it's never kicked the CEL on for the MAF codes

I have all the MAF codes set to no error reported and the SES box unchecked.

Engine Diag
MAF frequency fail high: 100hz

Dynamic airflow
High RPM disable: 8000rpm
High RPM Hys: 7999rpm

On the MAF table, I zero out everything above 2500hz.

I've been doing it this way for years on anything I force to SD and haven't had an issue.

just tried everything you mentioned and that did not work.

I am running a 2 bar OS also.

The way my "hp tuners teacher" had me set it up was Maf frequency fail was left at 50hz

I didnt touch the maf table at all.
High rpm disable was set to 9000
Didnt touch the High Rpm hys.
Set the MAF codes to Mil on second error and uncheck the boxes.

i will say, when i set the dtc to no error reported, the car always stalls out right after I start it.
When i have it set to mil on second error, I have no issues with it stalling.

You can't set the MAF codes to no error reported, not sure how LilJayV10 has his car running like that but it will not fail over and it won't run properly. The correct thing to do with the three MAF codes is set them to no mil and uncheck the box. You don't have to do anything with the MAF table, high RPM disable, etc. If you have a MAF still hooked up you do need to set the high fail freq to zero though to kick it over to SD.

If those are the only codes on the scanner that is not causing your check engine light. Do you mean service vehicle light?

Yes, Its the Service Vehicle light. Not service engine.
My MAF is gone. I have a section of pipe in place.

I just tried No Mil with boxes unchecked and that didn't help.

These codes have nothing to do with Service Vehicle Soon...that is BCM. The diagnostic codes related to MAF will set the Service Engine Soon light.

I was getting ready to ask the same thing if it was the CEL or not.

OP, you will need an actual scanner to see what DTC's you have. HPT can't read BCM codes.

Okay this is good info. I did not know that. I thought HP tuners would read all and any codes.

I also tried a cheap $20 code reader and all it showed was the MAF codes.

Ahh, that's why I asked as I kind of figured. As others said that's BCM related so you will need a different scan tool to see that info. HP Tuners can scan a lot of the other modules in a newer CAN based car but on these older ones it only does the main PCM.
