1998 Trans am tuning for cam I have a 1998 trans am, i am looking for help in tuning for my cam. i think i have a fairly decent base tune but i do have some hiccups and want to address them before i can get it to a tuner which is 2 hours away. so idle seems to be okay but right off idle when i hit the throttle it hesitates and has stumbled because of this in the past. i want to make sure it is pretty safe to drive the way it is and get rid of that stumble down low. I will attach the latest base tune file i have on the cam. if anyone sees anything that is majorly wrong that would be a huge help. I will also list mods below.

862 truck heads milled
10.5:1 compression
texas speed rockers / pushrods
ls7 lifters
stock intake + TB
TR55 plugs gapped at 40

275/40/17 all 4 corners

I'm not sure what's been changed, but the the things that need to be havent.
Either fail the MAF and tune the VE or make it where it runs only on the MAF
That's a lot of BRAF for that engine. Disable idle adaptives, adjust the TB set screw where the IAC counts are around 40 at operating temp.
You will have to redo the BRAF table after that.
Raise idle RPM some until you get the tune closer.
If you are taking to someone to tune it, can you not get a base tune from them?

Sorry for not adding a log file with it. My tuner did mess with it some but it was maybe 2-3 remote files sent and i figured it was ok. Since then i have tried to drive the car just a little and also since then i have gotten hp tuners for myself to learn. i would love to take a shot at tuning it myself. I am going to add a mild pull and an idle file where the stumble happens most as well.
I know that you don't know this yet, but you aren't logging anything that you need to be.
Not being a dick at all. But I have a pretty good idea of someone skill level based on their questions and what they are logging.
