Going rich on start up
Going rich on start up Can someone look at my log and tune and maybe point me in the right direction? I have an issue with my car at start up, temp doesn't matter. It show commended lamda 1.0 but ever time I shut it off and restart it drops to around .80 and slowly starts working back up to lamda. If I start up completely cold and shut it off and restart it, it does the same thing but it smokes really bad for a few minutes and I need to rev it up to clean it out. Could this be an injector going bad or am I missing something in the tune? This is in a 70 Camaro. It is cam only 5.7L Auto LS1 from 02 Vette using 2001 P01 PCM from 5.3L truck.
So, I did go back to HPT. I disabled the MAF and the issue went away and the car is 100% running better. The main thing I wanted to make sure was to know there wasn't some other possible issue that needed to be addressed before I started actually tuning this thing. I haven't messed with tuning since around 2009 so I need to relearn all this stuff. Thanks Alvin for pointing me in the right direction sir
