Has anyone seen this yet? https://www.holley.com/products/fuel...4aAmTPEALw_wcB
It looks like it's going to make using a cheap tablet as a digital dash a LOT easier. Joe Simpson did a video on YouTube about it and from what I can see, it runs circles around the 3.5" handheld. You can also use your phone if you wanted to, and it uses your phone's accelerometer to give a speedometer readout if you don't have a speedo in your car. I'll probably get one over the winter and mount a tablet so I can get rid of my handheld. I don't do much with it anyway, as I have a laptop for tuning.

let me know how it works out for you. I have my normal 3.5 inch screen with the splitter so I can keep it and my laptop hooked up at the same time but wouldn't mind a tablet instead.

Mine is set up the same way presently. Right now, I'm dealing with a leaking clutch master cylinder, so that has to get fixed first. My goal is to set up a tablet so I can do a dashboard showing boost/AFR. I'll have to figure out a good way to mount it.
what's causing the leak? And are you wanting to actually put it on the dash or just externally mount it somewhere?

The leak is from a faulty seal in the Tilton master cylinder that Tick uses in their adjustable master cylinder kits. Some people have no issues with them, some people are unlucky like me and they leak. There's probably only 1000 miles of driving on it, so it's crappy that it happened that soon. I already knew they were known to leak sometimes, just part of building fast cars these days. Parts don't seem to be built as well as they used to be. It has a lifetime warranty at least, all I'm out is my own labor.
As for the tablet, I'd probably mount it using one of the vent holes in the center of the dash so it's right in my line of sight. My 3.5" screen is down by my shifter presently and is basically useless in a racing situation. I'll just have to figure out a way to mount it securely because it's heavier than a phone.
