Backfire!! Flame!! Hey
I have a LS3 swapped Porsche, track only car. Terminator X Maxx, runs great EXCEPT on closed throttle backfire on decel, usually above 5000 rpm, plus, after a strait away, long or short, BUT ONLY out right side cylinders 2,4,6,8 side. So much that the right exhaust is white, drivers side black. I am told it puts out a flame, right side only, many drivers have seen it, and it did blow apart a set of Flowmater 40s last year, guts rattling around and cases clearly bulged out. I swapped all left and right injectors, same thing, swapped plugs and wires left to right, same thing, O2 sensor is on the left. Exhaust pipes are not joined in anyway..IDEAS????

If that ECU has per-cylinder fueling adjustments, see if one of them accidentally got set to something way different from the others.
Try swapping all of the injectors from right to left and see if the problem moves to the left side. If it does, swap them back one at a time and see which swap causes the problem to move back. That's your bad injector.

WB02 is left, backfires on right. Funny you asked that! I do run mufflers, without them idle AFR was all over the place until about 2000rpm. The left side(drivers) has black inside the tip, right is white.. so to me, simply, left is rich and right is lean
