ifr and open loop
ifr and open loop I have my ifr set at 94% of stock to get my ltrims slightly negative. Does this mean that I need to reduce my open loop multiplier table by 94% so that it would stay the same? The PE table would also need a similar change just to keep the same afr, correct? thanks
Your open loop a/f multiplier shouldn't have an effect as long as the car is in closed loop. I wouldn't bother with the lambda table. You may want to make a small reduction in the PE table however. Careful though because it will drive the car leaner.
Additionally, it isn't a 1:1 ratio. 94% on the IFR may be 91% on the lambda table (just guessing on the %)

Yeah, i know it the open loop multiplier wouldn't affect the closed loop operation, i was just wondering if it would make the cold starts and such much richer since the ifr is a global change. I have my pe mult. at 1.11 and my 02s were still at the 925 range. They were originally about 950.
