Extra PCM, how do I program VIN# or get VIN# programmed into unit? anyone know? buying a new pcm that was flashed with the latest 02 OS from GM, but the person I'm buying it from had his vin# programmed in. Who cando this for me? How can I do this? will be using a predator programmer as well on this new pcm.

Ken Kelly of LS1-Edit fame should be able to do this. His addr is pcmdoc@surfree.net or something like that.
I had a used PCM competely reflashed by him with latest microcode and my VIN, he gets $50 a pop.

The dealership usually will do it for a half hours labor if you bring it by and plug it in your car so they can program it with their tech-II through the OBDII port.
