HP Tuners cable won't read PCM "HELP"

HP Tuners cable won't read PCM "HELP" I am having a problem trying to connect the HP tuner cable to the PCM, it says that the status of the cable is that it is not connected. Everything is installed properly and connected just fine. My car is an 02 and the program is for an 02. Also the program seems to connect fine to everyone else's cars except mine. Any help would be greatly appreciated. "PLEASE HELP"
