Default Help me understand something about tuning

It is my basic understanding that there are many ways to tune...but i still have some questions about some of the ways to tune. First off what im doing to tune is about as basic as it gets...ive tuned for idle and all that with some minor minor changes to ve & doing the rest of my fueling mainly through the ifr & pe tables first off is this the best way to do things? Also when tuning using the ve table would the ifr & pe tables have to be adjusted as well? Also i understand that the ve table has some effect no matter your tuning through ifr & pe so should i adjust my ve in the long run? Obviously with my new combo id have to assume the motor has completely different efficiency characteristics to it so id assume youd want to shift the ve table some, but how, and how much? Im sure I'll have a ton of other questions once these questions get anwsered but its a start for now

Thanks
Bill
