Default VE, IFR, PE, (afr)

Decreasing your PE numbers causes you to run leaner. Correct?
Decreasing your VE numbers causes you to run leaner. Correct?
Increasing your IFR numbers causes you to run leaner. Correct?
There seems to be mixed opinions on this. Can anyone clear the information up? Is there any other tables that can have an effect on your air to fuel ratio?

My problem is, my motor is running rich after the header install. Other problem is i dont have a wideband. Can, I decrease the pe, ve and increase the ifr table till i see near 870-910mv's?

Correct.
Correct.
Correct.
Don't forget your MAF table, down is leaner.
You have to be careful how you do this. Your trims will always try to put you at 14.7 in open loop. However, they won't necessarily help you in closed loop. Your changes that affect your AFR need to put you as close to "dead-on" as possible. At WOT it is easier to tune, and you can try to put your O2s to about 890-910, but that may not really be ideal. Some people still run too lean, and for some people that is too rich. You really (I hate to admit) need a wide-band O2 to tune fueling. There are other tables you can use to adjust part throttle mixtures though, but I haven't gotten to that yet.
