Body Control Module Problems after Dash Removal(Pics and Questions)
Agent Orange: We're not sure what happended to the BCM other than maybe it got hit hard enough to damage something internal? I hope that this is the source of the problem. Maybe the RAP too?
Slow: Thanks, I couldn't ever find that gear module that the previous owner told me about. Ha. Does the windown roll down module have anything to do with the radio being powered?

Just a thought I would check the RAP relay and whatever fuse powers it before I spent all that money on a new BCM and programming it. I will look tomorrow to find out where they are located.
while the bcm might contain the vin, they are not vin specific for the keys on the f-car, but the key must match the resistance of the original car, you have a 1::8 or 1:12 chance of this happening.

So I can do it on my own if I buy a new one then? Anyone know the part number?
Do you know how it is attached up there, I took the panel under the glove box off, but couldn't really see up there very well. I wasn't sure how easy it would be to remove the trashed BCM and get a new one on there.
