Common 98 Issue? P0103 and Blowing Engine Control Fuse

There is a 50 amp maxi titled engine controls, it powers 3 fuses, fuel pump /20 a , PCM bat 10a & air pump 25a.
Then there is the 15 amp fuse in the under hood box also labeled engine control.
It powers the purge flow solenoid on the drivers side of the intake, & the charcoal canister vent control solenoid under the car in front of the gas tank. (on charcoal canister) Also on automatic cars it powers the shift & torque converter clutch solenoids inside the trans. All the wires it powers in those componets are solid color pink. Just FYI the skip shift & rev. lock out solenoid on the M-6 are powered thru the engine sensor fuse. *note*> this is 98 year specific.........

MichaelHorist (11:41:01 PM): that fuse seems to be blowing cause of a short somewhere in your evap system heh
MichaelHorist (11:41:08 PM): so not something you'd have to worry about
Jazzplyr88 (11:42:42 PM): hmmm
Jazzplyr88 (11:42:47 PM): i had that evap code remember
I has the same exact problem. I have a 98. Thought I had blown another MAF. Got a new 85MM. Same thing. Put stock one on same thing. Come to find out that my driver's side 02 wire had a small nick in it just above the heat shield. Taped it up with electrical tape. Nothing since.. NO P103 code since.
My bet is with a small nick in one of your O2 sensor wires.
