I got gas in Baton Rouge last weekend, and got a p0430 code not too long after. I reset it before my trip back, and it came back on a little while later. When I got back to Houston, I got gas and reset it again while I was at the station. That was over a week ago, and it hasn't come on again. I know some Baton Rouge stations switched to some kind of ethanol blend. Could bad gas, or ethanol gas caused this?
Thanks,
Tim

I suspect it is two tanks of bad gas....

i had the same code come up in my 99 Z28. a mechanic i talked to said he though it might have been carbon build up on the o2 sensors, because i couldn't get it to turn off even after doing a gas treatment. I just decided to get o2 sims and be done with it.
