Default PE Table

I am spraying over 150 rwhp (dry kit) and set my window at 4000 rpms till 6200 rpms.

Since my motor will never see nitrous before 4000 rpms I want to tune it like any N/A ls1 before 4000 rpms (12.8-1 A/F) but I'd like to get around (12.0-1) A/F after 4000 rpms

I was thinking about increasing the PE table factor after 4000 rpms. Am I right doing it that way or is there another way to do it?

Sounds like the right idea. Since there might be a little lag between commanded fueling and actual fueling, you might want to start to richen it up at 3600 instead of 4000 to be safer.

Is there really such a delay??? I was under the impression the PCM could react quite fast to rpm changes???

if your logs are like mine on teh track you will notice that 99% of the time you are WOT and in PE you are above 4k rpms too (if you have a 6spd). Im never below 4k enough (launching at 2k or so) to make any differences that would matter.

I was thinking something like 12.8:1 below 3600, 12.4:1 at 3600, and 12.0:1 at 4000+. BTW, some folks recommend 11.5:1 for N2O...

Heres how you do it,

1. Set the 02's to set at whatever A/F you want to achieve.
2. Cut off the O2's. In the table move them beyond their operating temp, now they wont mess with you while you are tuning.
3. Use the Wide band to set what ever A/F you want.
4. Turn the O2's back on, by moving their operating temp back down to 92

Now when the O2's make their adjustment, the adjustments will be very small because you are so close to what the new commanded A/F is.

Hope that helps.
