Default SES light won't go off!

Alright.... I am gonna go have my truck scanned soon, but I just wanted an idea of whats going on first. I had my cats removed a while back, and about 10 mins later it threw the code, and I knew what it was.

Having it scanned proved that it was all related to the rear sensors. Alright, I got my new tune in a few weeks ago and right as I cranked up with the new PCM it had the SES light, even though my tuner said that he programmed the PCM to ignore that code.

I just disconnected the battery, then reconnected and cranked it back up a minute or so later and the SES light was on right as it cranked.

What is going on? Shouldn't that light go out for at least a minute or so after the batcomputer is reset?

no, disconnecting the battery doesnt mean it will reset the ses light, i think you might need to pull a fuse for the pcm for it to truely reset.
