wideband tuning - AFR Hi Folks
I started tuning with my LM-1 WB O2 sensor. The problem; I am tuning on the street and when I start out in 1st gear(AFR =12.6 to 13.1), 2nd gear (AFR=12.8 to 11.88 @6170), and 3rd gear (AFR=11.55 @ 4590 to 11.24@ 5990). It appears as I crank thru the gears, the AFR is getting richer. What is causing this and what can I do to correct it?? I am trying to get to 12.6 but every gear has different set of numbers when I start from a slow rolling start.

I assume its caused by more load. However mine doesnt vary that much. I may be 13.1-13.3 in 1st through 3rd but all of 4th im at 12.9-13.0. Id tune for 4th gear right now as that is when you are gonna have the most load and probally the most chance for damage to the engine. Then see what happens to the other gears.

Thanks - I will try that - I plan on going to the track this weekend and will log the data.
