If you have LS1 edit, Hp tuners ect, you won't need a translator, you can change maf readings with the tuner.

It will do what its advertised to do, before LS1edit/HPtuners was available people would use a MAFT to tune the LTFTs and WOT a/f all the time but you dont hear much about them anymore. I even used a MAFT to run 38lb injectors with a stock PCM years ago and it worked fine.

it does work, just most people nowadays will buy tuning software instead. I used one on my last supercharged car along with an in-car wideband to change the a/f at the track instead of flashing the PM so they are still useful. Lots of used ones for sale if you want to play with one.

Its easy to use if you understand what it does and you have some sort of scanning/logging software. There are lots of old threads here on them, may want to use the search.

If you don't have $500 for tuning software, then it's a great tuning aid. Easy to use and works fine for mildly modded cars. Plus you can pick one up used pretty cheap.
