HPTuners Hey guys, I will start off by saying I am not all that knowledgable on LS1 Edit or HPTuners yet, but have a couple questions for you guys.
I read that HPTuners will allow me to program another f-body, as long as its the same year, is that true? Also, will HPTuners tell the PCM to not turn on certain annoying trouble codes, i.e., rear 02's if running no cats? I guess what I am asking is what can LS1 Edit allow me to do that HPTuners cant? TIA and I apologize for all the questions.

HPTuners is year/platform locked, so you are correct

HPT is year/platform locked...
HPT can disable SES codes

(LS1 Edit is JUST starting to get into the scanning game... ) Great news.......thanks for the replys, you cleared up a lot of cloudy issues for me. Now, how much is it and where do I get it? And can a performance shop dyno tune with HPTuners? TIA

Sounds like 1.5 software and cable will be available w/pricing next week
Any tuner should be able to quickly grasp HPT and tune with it (the basic ideas aren't much different than LS1 Edit ) but it is more fun to tune yourself
