I have a 2000 Z-28 and reciently installed a set of Hooker Super Comp headers and "Y" pipe, Hotchkis Springs and Sway bars. When I was done I could hear a sound from the engine compartment that sounded like a carburator with its air cleaner off when you accelerate down the road. I have looked everywhere, but am unable to find where it is coming from. The second problem/question I have is that I just re-programmed my car with a Diablo and did not notice much improvement with the programmers settings. By the way I also installed a 160 degree thermostat and did not notice much change in the temprature guage readings. What did I do wrong or what parameters sould I program into the ECM?
