Default What to buy LS1 edit or HP tuner

Well with the new cam I am going to have to tune. I was just wondering what would be easier to tune with. It has been a while since I have done tuning and that was on my 89 with an old *** DFI setup.
Any problems using a usb to serial adapter with either?
Thanks

usb to serial adapters almost never work right for anything. And yes, HP is better than edit.
