LS1 4L60-E transplant to 72 GMC
I'm trying to put a LM7 and 4L60-E in my old truck. My biggest hurdle seems to be the wiring. I want to retain the cruise, A/C, and all other engine and trans controls. What do I need to bypass the V.A.T.S. and get rid of all the junk I don't want. The donor truck is a rolled 1999 GMC C-1500.

You'll need to have the PCM reprogrammed to take care of the VATS and the rest of the stuff you want to eliminate.
Shoot me an email or PM and I'll go over it all with you as to what needs to be done and what we can do for you.

Thanks for the response. My email adress is meddica@sofast.net Any information would be helpful such as details on how the system works and programing the system for what I want and don't want. And some foresight on any other problems I may run into along the way.
Thanks again, eagerLS1
