Is my sensor bad, I cleaned it. All levels are fine, yet my coolant light is still on

It's VERY common. After a few years or high milage, just about everybody has experienced the problem. Most live with the light but it bugged me so I cleaned the sensor. I think they are around $24-40 brand new. If the fluid is topped off in the radiator then everything is fine with the motor and it does not affect the PCM in any way.

I've had the gas guage problem too. Seems the general needs to stop cutting corners on cheap sensors and wiring.
