2000 SS SES code #404
2000 SS SES code #404 He had it scanned at Autozone I think and it spit out this code #404. I tried looking it up by using the sticky above but it comes back with nothing.
Any thoughts?

404 - Exhaust Gas Recirculation (EGR) Open Position Performance.
So it seems there is a problem with the EGR system. Not quite sure what that particular code means though as there are codes for insufficient and excessive flow. Obviously it doesn't like how the EGR system is working in the open position... hope this helps some.
