Low coolant light on.
I have a low coolant light on - no check engine light is on however. I have refilled the reservoir which did not help.
When that did not work, I removed the radiator cap when the engine was cold. Then I ran it until the engine warmed and the thermostat opened. I thought an air bubble could have formed blocking coolant.
The engine temp guage is normal and the engine is not running hot/cold.
Any ideas?
A few weeks ago I changed some other sensors including; cam sensor, knock sensor, oil pressure switch.
Is it possible that my engine temp/coolant sensor is also bad; where is this located? On the side of the block on the drivers side in front?
If I just clear any codes with OBD2 software will that keep the light off?
