Default Is This A Major Tuning Problem?

i pulled my heads to swap lifters yesterday and i found that all of my passenger side pistons were coated with the kinda light off-whitish splotches, however the drivers side had very minimal spots and a bit more carbon build up...does this mean my passenger bank is lean? also..are your intake valves supposed to be carbon covered and your exhaust valves kinda chalky lookin? i hope soneone can help..and if my assumtions are correct...is this fixable with some tuning? thanks
