tuning .......first time

hey, im gonna get a 408stroker in three weeks and tune it with hp-tuner.

what are somethings i should know (example: afr stability), to make it run without any problems

it being a new motor i dont want to trash..........i now it could be extensive to list all the details oon the tune but im looking for the basic tuning info nesesary do when i learn the program better i can tweek it to max performance.
