Default Atap question
well, i wanna get something that can record my runs down the drag strip so i can "fine tune" my car. from what i understand atap can do this. how much is it and what do i need to get to get all the data i need? and what all does it do? thanks guys

autotap doesnt do much other then scan...you can view your dtc's and look at every parameter every other scanner out hter can...it runs about $200 new, i sold mine for around $150 a while back.

does it save data? or what can i get that will log my run and stuff. like the o2's, KR, spark and all that good stuff

yes you can save pretty much as much info as you want...ive logged hours via autotap.

now with that you have to have a lap top right? is there anything out that you can plug in and save it and then bring it on the computer. i dont have a lap top and would have to get my dads from his work. unless i go buy one lol

hmmmm...dunno...nothing that i can think of off the top of my head other then a tech II

EFILive FlashScan gives you up to 25 minutes of logging with no laptop required. You can then download it to your desktop PC for analysis.
On top of all that, FlashScan also allows you to edit/tune your PCM - although you do need a computer connected to upload/download calibration changes.
