Using a WB SD tune to calculate a new MAF table
Theory here
When the MAf is diconnected the PCM uses the ve table to figure out dynamic airflow, could you log RAW MAF frequency and then derive a table from the dynamic cylinder air pid (in g/sec). This way the maf models the engine flow and characteristics. This also takes into account any changes to the maf and the intake tract.....
What do you think???
The calculation the pcm uses to figure out air is in this thread

If the car is dialed in using 13:1 on a SD tune with the new ve values the PCM back calculates airmass with information taken from a few other sensors (refer to linked thread) so it know how much air is entering the car and this is displayed by the dynamic air cylinder pid (or something like that) well if you took the raw frequencies and plotted them against the air at that frequency you should be able to build a new accurate table
