Default Timing Question

I had my car tuned for spray(100 shot) and set the timing at 26*. Would I gain any power if I set it back to 30* like it was before to run on motor since I'm not spraying anymore?

30 is pretty high, do you have hptuners or edit? if so i guess it wouldnt hurt to add a degree back or two, but it aint going to add 50 horsepower or anything like that, to warrent the cost of a dyno tune or paying someone 150 bucks to add it back, why arent you spraying anymore? you times are pretty awsome for na, what the heck you have done to your car if you where close id change it for you but im all the way in indiana.. jes

No HP Tuners yet When I was tuning it with the Predator I had it up to 30* with no knock retard and it seemed to respond better to me, but maybe I was wishing it was. LOL I'm not spraying anymore because I went up to a 4400 stall As for the mods just the usuall Headers, Torque converter, gears, duals, suspension, etc...

I have a question as well about timing and don't want to hijack but didn't want to start another thread either. I am stock tune right now but would like to mess with the tuning a bit. What amount would be good for me to advance the timing? I was thinking of starting small 3-5* range. What is recommended? Any help is appreciated.
