Flashing Gm Computer I'm Looking For Some One That Can Flash My 98 Gm Computer. I Have A 1942 Ford I Put A 99 Ls1 And 6sp Trans In I Used A Painless Wiring assembly And The theyTold Me To Us A 98 Computer And Now I Need It Programed. I'm In Southern Ca. Can You Help

98's have slightly different pin assignments. a 99 or newer pcm won't be compatable with 98's. However, if you can get wiring diagrams for both years you should be able to repin the 99 and make it functional.
The painless harness uses a 98 computer, it will plug into any ls1, just make sure you have the correct ECT sensor.
what injectors do you have on the motor? if 99's you will want to program that into the computer as well, as the 98's are larger than the 99's
