Predator quick question about the Predator.
On the website it states it comes with - Revised Torque Management Settings for optimum performance
I am plan to add a stall converter , does the revised program that comes with the Predator allow for this or are there further adjustments that need to be done and can I make these or would I need a custom tune?

Last I knew their canned tune completly deleted the toque management. You should not need a custom tune. You will be able to readjust your shift firmness and shift time along with the shift point and limiter just incase your tapping the limiter on the shift after the converter install. A handful of people have had to raise their idle after an install and you would need a custom tune for that. I have always gotten my custom tunes straight from Diablo and they are usually done with in 24 hours.

Thanks. I emailed them and you're correct they completely remove the tq. management. Are there any dowsides to this ? I thought I had read somewhere it can cause premature trans failure ?
