Is there a way to teach the TPS the position?

Is there a way to teach the TPS the position?

I removed my TPS to inspect it and now my PowrTuner (DHP) thinks the TPS% is 5.08% closed and the voltage is .48. Is there a way to teach the PCM the proper TPS%???

I'm not really sure, but i would try turning on the key, unplug the TPS, turn off the key, plug it back in and turn the key on again. Just make sure your throttle is closed all the way.

Someone will chime in here to see if I'm right hopefully...

it's a long shot but there might be an electornic re-learn process that may need to be done. i know there's one for the crank sensor and 1 or 2 other sensors. might be worth looking into.

Yes. I posted a thread called "don't drill those throttle bodies" that goes over how to adjust your IAC counts using the set screw, and then reset the TPS sensor. Basically you unplug it, turn the key on, let it sit a sec, turn the key off, plug the sensor back in, and turn the key on. Your TPS sensor will re-zero.
