cheap pcm fan control?

cheap pcm fan control?

Is there any way to cheaply turn on the fan control in the pcm other than spending money on a hypercrap or any of the expensive tuners out there? I have an 03 silverado and am not interested in gaining power, only increasing mileage and cannot justify $300-$500 just to have the fans turned on in the pcm...I could do it with a thermostat and relays but thought I would see if there is a better solution?

ive been doing all that for free. you just need to send the pcm to me.. i can also turn on the fuel saving tables in the pcm so they turn on while on the highway.. jes

I wasn't aware lean curise mode worked when activated, although I could be behind the times?
